Many teams running Salesforce CPQ start with a simple setup. Over time they need automated pipelines, audit-ready controls, and version-controlled deployments across several orgs.
The DevOps platform you choose at that stage affects how much time goes to shipping releases and how much goes to fixing failed deployments.
Prodly started as a point tool for moving configuration data and has grown into a broader platform. As of October 2026, it calls itself an Agentforce Revenue Management specialist built for CPQ, ARM, and other configuration-data-driven apps.
Flosum is a DevOps and DevSecOps platform for Salesforce metadata, data, security, and governance. It runs in three deployment options: Salesforce-native, Flosum-hosted cloud, and customer-hosted.
This article starts with data deployment, then covers CI/CD, version control, compliance, architecture, integrations, and pricing.
For a wider view of the market, see Flosum's roundup of the best Salesforce DevOps tools.
Data Deployment: Prodly vs. Flosum Data Migrator
CPQ, Revenue Cloud, and Salesforce Industries store much of their logic as related records instead of metadata.
Moving those records between orgs means resolving dependencies record by record, and that's where the two products differ most.
Prodly
Prodly deploys metadata and configuration data in the same operation. As of October 2026, its Why Prodly page lists plug-and-play templates for CPQ, Billing, Advanced Approvals, Field Service, and Conga, plus version control for rollbacks. Its pricing page lists metadata and data deployment across connected orgs on every tier.
Flosum Data Migrator
Flosum Data Migrator moves data upstream or downstream between orgs and seeds sandboxes with production-like data. It offers:
- Org-to-org and cloud-to-cloud migration
- Prebuilt, relationship-aware templates for CPQ, Revenue Cloud/RLM, nCino, Field Service, Health Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, and Agentforce
- Automatic preservation of parent-child and cross-object relationships
- Built-in masking of sensitive fields, plus SOQL-based filters
- Logged, versioned jobs that show what moved, when, and who approved it
- Data jobs inside Flosum's CI/CD pipelines, alongside metadata deployments
- Parallel processing for millions of records, without Data Loader's row and timeout limits
Of Flosum's three deployment options, Data Migrator runs in Flosum-hosted cloud or customer-hosted. Salesforce-native runs Flosum's DevOps pipelines inside your org.
Flosum's data migration best practices suggest choosing which objects to move, building reusable templates, loading one record and checking it before loading the rest, and reviewing every error before cutover. For a full walkthrough, see the step-by-step migration guide.
| Dimension | Prodly (as of October 2026) | Flosum Data Migrator |
|---|---|---|
| Where it runs | Prodly's cloud service | Flosum-hosted cloud or customer-hosted |
| Data and metadata | Deployed together | Data jobs in the same pipelines as metadata |
| Templates | CPQ, Billing, Advanced Approvals, Field Service, Conga | CPQ, Revenue Cloud/RLM, nCino, Field Service, Health Cloud, FSC, Agentforce |
| Masking | Confirm with Prodly | Built-in masking |
Deployment and CI/CD
As of October 2026, Prodly offers a Salesforce CLI plugin, but its pricing page lists its APIs and CLI as an add-on rather than part of a tier. Version control integration, which Prodly says supports CI/CD deployments, is included from the Plus tier.
Flosum DevOps runs metadata pipelines with policy-based gates at each stage. The pipelines run inside your org with Salesforce-native, on Flosum-managed AWS with Flosum-hosted cloud, or on your own virtual machine with customer-hosted.
Data Migrator jobs can run in the same pipelines. Flosum adds SonarQube static analysis and Selenium UI testing, so teams with existing CI/CD tooling need less custom work.
Version Control and Rollback
As of October 2026, Prodly's docs list Azure Repos, Bitbucket Cloud and Server, GitHub Cloud, GitHub Enterprise Server, and GitLab Cloud. Self-managed GitLab and AWS CodeCommit aren't listed.
Flosum's metadata-aware versioning works in all three deployment options: Salesforce-native, Flosum-hosted cloud, and customer-hosted. With Salesforce-native, it lives entirely inside your org, as Flosum explains in Salesforce version control without Git.
Flosum also integrates with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps. Its rollback backs up existing components before undoing a deployment.
Compliance and Audit Trails
Prodly's Compliance Center, launched in January 2024, automates SOX documentation for CPQ, including C-SOX, UK SOx, and ASX, with automatic audit logs and one-click reports. As of October 2026, Prodly also markets built-in compliance with SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR. Ask for its current attestations, such as a SOC 2 report.
Flosum's audit trails can detect some changes made outside Flosum, and its controls support SOX, HIPAA, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and DORA requirements. For background, see Flosum's guide to Salesforce Field Audit Trail. Attestations depend on the deployment option:
| Deployment option | What covers compliance |
|---|---|
| Salesforce-native | Salesforce's compliance framework, including ISO 27001, SOC 2 and SOC 3, PCI-DSS, and NIST 800 alignment |
| Flosum-hosted cloud | Flosum's own certifications, audited by third parties every six months |
| Customer-hosted | Flosum's certifications cover its software; your team owns infrastructure security |
If one SOX-family regulation is your only concern, Prodly's Compliance Center may be enough. If several frameworks apply at once, ask each vendor for attestations mapped to each one.
Architecture
As of October 2026, Prodly is a cloud service that connects to your orgs through a Salesforce control org and a managed package. There's nothing for your team to host, but deployment data passes through Prodly's service. We didn't find a self-hosted option on its public pages.
Flosum's application is the same in all three deployment options. What changes is where data sits and who runs the infrastructure:
| Option | Where data and compute sit | Who runs it |
|---|---|---|
| Salesforce-native | Inside your org; no data leaves Salesforce | Salesforce |
| Flosum-hosted cloud | Flosum-managed AWS, AES-256 at rest, a unique key per org | Flosum |
| Customer-hosted | Your AWS, Azure, or GCP virtual machine, with your keys | Your team |
Flosum describes its native solution as Hyperforce-compliant and zero-trust. For why this matters, read who owns Salesforce security after the 2025 breach wave.
- Teams that need zero data egress lean toward Flosum's Salesforce-native option.
- Teams that need data outside Salesforce but under their own control can use customer-hosted.
- Teams comfortable with a vendor-run cloud can compare Prodly with Flosum-hosted cloud on features and price.
Integrations
As of October 2026, Prodly connects to the Git providers above and to your work management system. Both integrations are included from the Plus tier and listed as add-ons, per its pricing page. CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions need custom work through the APIs + CLI add-on.
Flosum has documented connections to Jira, Rally, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, SonarQube, and Selenium. Teams with established toolchains can plug Flosum in, while teams with no CI/CD tooling may find Prodly's self-contained setup easier to start with.
Pricing
As of October 2026, Prodly's pricing page lists four tiers without prices, so every tier needs a quote:
| Tier | Price | Highlights |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Contact Prodly | Up to 3 orgs, seeds up to 2 sandboxes at a time, 1 user |
| Plus | Contact Prodly | Up to 5 orgs, all data set templates, work management and version control integrations, 1 user |
| Enterprise | Contact Prodly | Unlimited orgs, Test add-on, 24/7 support, 1 user |
| Sandbox Management | Contact Prodly | Up to 10 orgs, seeds up to 5 sandboxes at a time, 1 user |
Add-ons, including Monitor, Test, extra user licenses, and Prodly APIs + CLI, are listed separately on the same page, also without prices. Flosum quotes each deal based on environment size, compliance needs, and the deployment option you choose: Salesforce-native, Flosum-hosted cloud, or customer-hosted.
